The International Group of Tour Operators and Travel Agencies, Havanatur S.A., announced today its summer offers for local and foreign tourists.
In a report, they said that the slogan of their campaign is giving color to the summer, and for that purpose they are joining hands with Spanish hotel firm Melia Cuba and hotel group Cubanacan.
The note adds that with the purpose to encourage offers specially designed for July-September, Havanatur is following a promotional strategy mainly oriented to the domestic market, including excursions, cultural routes, exchange with nature and gastronomic elements.
At least 1,400 Cubans took part in recreational programs in 2012, according to the Tourism Ministry.
This participation responds to the new economic policy that encourages the diversity of offers, including private restaurants and other recreational services.
