Spirit Airlines is canceling all of its flights through Tuesday, stranding thousands more passengers as a pilot’s strike continues into its second day.
The discount carrier said on its website Sunday that all Spirit Airlines flights have been cancelled through June 15. The pilots’ strike started Saturday.

Flights at the discount carrier have been canceled through Tuesday, June 15, the carrier said in an update on its website on Sunday. The Miramar, Florida, airline carries less than 1 percent of U.S. air-passenger traffic and offers flights in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.
