Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry data shows that Turkey received 17,624,969 tourists in the first seven months of this year — a 10.64 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The southwestern province of Mugla with special vacation destinations like Bodrum or Marmaris have also seen a boom in numbers of visiting tourists among the same period. With a 3% increase in comparison to the same period last year, the number of visiting tourists exceed 1.750 Million, among them many global celebrities.
