Turkey expected to Receive 33 million tourists by 2012

Turkish tourism industry has grown significantly over the past few years. Over 26 Million international tourists visited Turkey in 2008 alone and these figures are expected to go up despite of the global financial crisis. According to a new report by RNCOS, “Turkey Tourism Industry Forecast to 2012” the expected international tourists to visit Turkey by 2012 will reach up to 33 Million which will undoubtedly boost the turkish tourism industry. Istanbul/Turkey is also the 2010 European capital of culture

According to the report by RNCOS, Turkey is becoming more popular due healthcare tourism, especially for the European citizens. Other then health tourism, there are many other forms of tourism which are getting very popular and is adding to the number of the tourists that visits Turkey. Factors like government support, fast growing income levels and the location of Turkey between the three continents (Europe, Asia, Africa) are anticipated to drive the future growth of the tourism industry. Istanbul being the 2010 European capital of culture also makes Turkey a hot destination for tourists.

The “Turkey Tourism Industry Forecast to 2012” report provides an insight into the Turkish tourism market. It discusses the key components which make Turkey a  potential tourism destination and evaluates the past, present and future scenario of the tourism market in Turkey. The factors that affect the Turkish tourism industry such as inbound tourism, outbound tourism, expenditure by inbound tourists, medical tourism, and hotel industry are put into account thoroughly in the report. This report will assist clients, to evaluate the opportunities for their success in the tourism industry of Turkey.

The report also evaluates the different internal and external components which are fuelling the Turkish tourism industry. It provides an overview of the Middle Eastern tourism industry, helping the clients to evaluate and analyze the present and future position of the Turkish tourism industry in the region.
