Racism allegations from Turks towards Thilo Sarrazin

SarrazinThilo Sarrazin, who is a member of the board of directors of the German central bank has said discriminating words against Turkish and Arabian people in an interview he gave to Leettre International magazine. Thilo Sarrazin, showed his views against the Turks and Arabs by saying “I do not have to except people who live in this country but also hate this country, people who do not get involved with their childs educations and people who constantly produce new head scarf wearing little girls”. He went on to say that the Turks and Arabs are only good for working as a grocery employee.

The Chairman of the German Central Bank Axel Weber, has said of the incident that “our respect and reputation has been damaged, this must be put right”.

Both the German Turkish Society (TGD) and the chairman of the Federal Assembly on Internal Affairs Sebastian Edathy, have called Sarrazin to resign after his interview. Sebastian Edathy has said on the incident that “Sarrazin’s words contains racism, he should resign from his post as a member of the board of directors at the German central bank or be fired”.

In an interview Vural Öger, Member of the European Parliament gave to de Berliner Morgenpost newspaper said, Sarrazin’s words has been seen as a scandal in Turkey and because of Sarrazin’s words the Turkish and German bonds has gotten weaker

In the 21st century, leaders of the first world country’s that say they are more educated and democratic (including France Prime Minister Sarkozy) should be silenced from these untrue and racist thoughts and be punished for their actions.
