The United Nations called for calm in Turkey.
UN called for calm and resolve differences through dialogue and stressed that closely follows the situation in the country rocked by protests for two weeks.
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said that “The demonstrations must be peaceful and the authorities must respect the rights of assembly and freedom of expression as basic principles of the democratic state”
