FIFA has chosen only one official tour operator in Turkey and the surrounding area for the 2010 South Africa World Cup.
Throughout the FIFA World Cup competitions there has always been a problem with genuine spectators not being able to get into the stadium due to fake tickets. FIFA have introduced new rules and regulations to combat purchasing of fake tickets and unlawful selling of the tickets.
FIFA have introduced a “Tour Operator Partner” program for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, in which genuine trusted tour operators are picked to insure fans get their money’s worth.
FIFA have introduced World Cup tour packets for South Africa which includes match tickets that can only be purchased by official tour operators chosen by FIFA.
For Turkey and the surrounding area, WTS (World Travel Service) is the only official tour operator.
FIFA, who chose tour operators in every major country, chose World Travel Service (WTS) as the only official tour operator in Turkey for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Genuine fans from Turkey can purchase tour packets with up to Category 1 tickets from WTS, which FIFA chose as the official Tour operator in Turkey and it’s surrounding area for the World Cup 2010. All flights purchased with the tour packets will be with FIFA’s official sponsor, Emirates Airlines.

FIFA has also announced that names of the fans that purchased tour packets from official FIFA chosen tour operators will be printed on their tickets. Fans who purchase tickets from organisations and people that are not chosen by FIFA risk being turned away by stadium stewards.
Hotels have stopped reservations for summer 2010 in South Africa!
With South Africa already being a tourism haven, FIFA have stopped reservations for hotels in the country so that fans are not left in the open. It is expected that over 1 million fans will be in South Africa for the World Cup 2010.
Genuine fans in Turkey and the surrounding area who wish to go to South Africa for the World Cup 2010 are advised to contact World Travel Service (WTS) who are the only official tour operator in Turkey.
