Spirit Airlines is canceling all of its flights through Tuesday, stranding thousands more passengers as a pilot’s strike continues into its second day.
The discount carrier said on its website Sunday that all Spirit Airlines flights have been cancelled through June 15. The pilots’ strike started Saturday.
Spirit’s 440 pilots represented by the Air Line Pilots Association walked off the job on Saturday after U.S.-mediated talks failed to bridge differences with management over pay, scheduling and benefits.
