Hotel workers began the first targeted strike of 2010 at the San Francisco Hilton.
They held several short strikes last year at other downtown hotels. In January 2010, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka and over 100 others were arrested for blocking the entrance to the Hilton after a rally and march.
The union is calling for a boycott of the Hilton and several other hotels until a fair contract is negotiated.
They handed out flyers explaining why they are on strike with a list of hotels which are being boycotted and others which are ok to stay at.
