Southwest Airlines which decorates its Boeing 737 fleet with everything from a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, to Shamu from Sea World, and the National Basketball Association, announced on Tuesday another round of bargain fares starting as low as $59 one-way to select destinations.
In case you missed the 72-hour sale that the carrier offered just two weeks ago, you have another chance, or overtime to use the Fourth Quarter football analogy which the airline promoted on the last fare go around. You might just score that perfect deal.
While not as low as the $25 fare that had been offered, travelers can still save if they plan ahead. A 14-day advance purchase is necessary, and travel is limited to any day except Fridays and Sundays between Dec. 2 and Dec. 17, 2009, or between Jan. 5, 2010 and March 9, 2010.
