Madonna has described her Brazilian model boyfriend Jesus Luz as the “love of her life”.
The singer spoke about her relationship with Luz in a speech at her 51st birthday party in Italy before running across the room to kiss him.
According to OK magazine, Madonna told friends: “He’s the love of my life. He has been so strong around me. I can’t thank him enough.”
The morning after the party, which was apparently organised by designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, Madonna and Luz boarded a luxury yacht with the popstar’s children Lourdes, 12, Rocco, 9, Mercy, 4 and 3-year-old David.

Madonna and ex-husband Guy Ritchie split last October.
