Brussels Airlines will offer a wider range of flights to Milan during the 2009-10 winter season, it has been announced.
The carrier revealed that, from October 25th, it will offer 12 weekly flights from Brussels to Milan Linate Airport.
Travellers will therefore be offered a total of 42 weekly connections to Milan, with 30 scheduled flights already operating to Malpensa Airport.
Linate Airport is located only 8km from the city centre and is popular among corporate travellers, who will be able to make use of the business class product that will be provided on the new service alongside an economy option.
The additional flights being launched this winter will be operated as part of a codeshare agreement with Lufthansa Italia.
Brussels Airlines claims to be the “strongest player” in the market of flights to Italy from the Belgian capital, with regular services to Rome, Florence, Naples and other popular destinations.
