Turkey’s export has risen nearly 11.44 in Agust 2010 comparing with the same year of 2009.
Turkish Exporters’ Assembly (TIM) said Turkish exports were up 11.44 percent and reaching 8.56 billion USD.
TIM made public Turkey’s exports figures for August at a press conference held in Istanbul on Wednesday.
Turkey’s exports in January-August period rose by 12.95 percent and amounted to 72.96 billion USD, while its 12-month exports reached 110.5 billion USD, TIM said.
Ready-made-clothes & textile sector made the highest exports in August with 1.18 billion USD, followed by chemical products industry with 1.08 billion USD and automotive sector with an export figure of 1.05 billion USD, TIM also said.
The top 10 countries which received the majority of Turkish exports in August 2010 were Germany, United Kingdom, Iraq, France, Russian Federation, Italy, United States, Spain, UA.
