Because in May a bridge will open in the Czech Republic that will be quite a bit longer, as the name of the &#8220;Sky Bridge 721&#8221; already suggests.<\/p>\n<h3>On the &#8220;Sky Bridge 721&#8221; from one mountain peak to the next<\/h3>\n<p>According to the operator&#8217;s website, the structure in East Bohemian Doln\u00ed Morava in the foothills of the Jeseniky Mountains is 95 meters above the ground at its highest point. Anyone who dares to step on the only 1.2 meter wide &#8220;Sky Bridge 721&#8221; can walk from one mountain peak to the other at dizzying heights. Visitors enter the bridge at a height of 1125 meters and leave it at a height of 1135 meters above sea level.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Crossing the bridge over the majestic valley of the Ml\u00fdnsk\u00fd creek offers all visitors a unique opportunity to learn more about the local landscape and history through the educational trail &#8216;The Bridge of Time&#8217;,&#8221; the operators write. The suspension bridge is just a few meters from the popular &#8220;Sky Walk&#8221;, a 55 meter high spiral wooden walkway.<\/p>\n<h3>Information for visitors of the &#8220;Sky Bridge 721&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p>The operators have not yet given a specific opening date for the &#8220;Sky Bridge 721&#8221;. The website only mentions \u201cmid-May\u201d. Also, no tickets are available online yet. According to the website, visitors can get to the bridge using a chairlift located behind the Slam\u011bnka hut. The tour over the bridge and the subsequent interactive nature trail should last about 1.5 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Incidentally, the current record holder for the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world is (still) the \u201c516 Arouca\u201d in Portugal, which opened in May.
