A photo exhibition opened Wednesday with the help of one of Istanbul\u2019s main tourist attractions that showcases a majority of the work on display for the first time to the audience.<\/h1>\n

Mustafa Aksay and Omer Faruk Aksoy organized “Unseen Stages of Mecca and Medinah in Topkapi Palace” in cooperation with Istanbul’s Topkapi Palace Museum and the King Abdulaziz Research and Archive Center.<\/p>\n

The opening ceremony was held with the participation of the deputy Emir of Medinah Emir Suud bin Khalid al-Faisal, King Salman’s Undersecretary Fahd Semari, director of King Abdul Aziz Research and Archive Center Muhammad Nouman and others.<\/p>\n

Aksoy said the model of the Masjid al-Nabawi, or the prophet\u2019s mosque, paintings from various periods, miniatures, engravings and works describing the phases of Medinah and Mecca in the past are part of the exhibition.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is organized within the scope of activities of the Capital of Islamic Tourism which Medinah is representing in 2017 and will be open for three months.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
