{"id":2626,"date":"2010-02-23T10:13:45","date_gmt":"2010-02-23T08:13:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.turizmtatilseyahat.com\/en\/?p=2626"},"modified":"2010-02-23T10:15:29","modified_gmt":"2010-02-23T08:15:29","slug":"starwood-hotels-has-its-eyes-on-china","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.turizmtatilseyahat.com\/en\/starwood-hotels-has-its-eyes-on-china\/","title":{"rendered":"Starwood Hotels has its eyes on China"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.turizmtatilseyahat.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/starwood-hotel.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-2627\" title=\"Starwood Hotels has its eyes on China\" src=\"http:\/\/www.turizmtatilseyahat.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/starwood-hotel-280x220.jpg\" alt=\"Starwood Hotels has its eyes on China\" width=\"280\" height=\"220\" \/><\/a>Starwood Hotels &amp; Resorts could see as much as a quarter of its business come from Asia in the next few years, the hotel operator&#8217;s chief financial officer said on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Starwood currently draws 15 percent of its business from Asia, said CFO Vasant Prabhu at the Reuters Travel and Leisure Summit in New York.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s not inconceivable that it (business in Asia) grows to 20, 25 percent,&#8221; he told Reuters.<\/p>\n<p>Starwood has 50 hotels in China and plans to open another 50 to 70 properties.
