{"id":2485,"date":"2010-02-05T13:47:47","date_gmt":"2010-02-05T11:47:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.turizmtatilseyahat.com\/en\/?p=2485"},"modified":"2010-02-05T13:47:47","modified_gmt":"2010-02-05T11:47:47","slug":"marriott-hotel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.turizmtatilseyahat.com\/en\/marriott-hotel\/","title":{"rendered":"Marriott hotel planned for Manor Mill complex"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.turizmtatilseyahat.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Marriott-hotel.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-2486\" title=\"Marriott hotel planned for Manor Mill complex\" src=\"http:\/\/www.turizmtatilseyahat.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Marriott-hotel-280x220.jpg\" alt=\"Marriott hotel planned for Manor Mill complex\" width=\"280\" height=\"220\" \/><\/a>An International hotel chain is to open a venue at a \u00a3100m riverside development in Hull city centre.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Marriott, which has properties in more than 70 countries, will operate a 185-bedroom hotel at the Manor Mill scheme.<\/p>\n<p>It will feature conference and banqueting facilities, a fitness centre and rooms equipped with high-speed Internet access, designed to appeal to the corporate travel market.<\/p>\n<p>Business leaders have welcomed the decision by Marriott to sign up to the new development, saying Hull needs more &#8220;quality hotels&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The Manor Mill complex, next to Drypool Bridge, will create 400 full-time jobs. Another 150 construction and demolition jobs will be secured during the life of project.<\/p>\n<p>East Yorkshire-based developers Manor Property Group confirmed Marriott had signed up to operate a hotel in the development.<\/p>\n<p>Phil Akrill, managing director of Manor Property Group, said: &#8220;Awarding the first of many major contracts to develop this site is a significant move for the company and for Hull.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The recession has hit the development industry hard and is not over yet.
