{"id":1197,"date":"2009-09-29T09:50:47","date_gmt":"2009-09-29T06:50:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.turizmtatilseyahat.com\/en\/?p=1197"},"modified":"2009-09-29T17:15:07","modified_gmt":"2009-09-29T14:15:07","slug":"air-india-protest-hampers-flights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.turizmtatilseyahat.com\/en\/air-india-protest-hampers-flights\/","title":{"rendered":"Air India protest hampers flights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.turizmtatilseyahat.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/air-india1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1198\" title=\"Air India protest hampers flights\" src=\"http:\/\/www.turizmtatilseyahat.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/air-india1-280x220.jpg\" alt=\"Air India protest hampers flights\" width=\"280\" height=\"220\" \/><\/a>Air India has said that about half of its flights have been disrupted after pilots reported sick for a fourth consecutive day as part of a protest.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>The pilots are protesting against the cancellation of performance-related bonuses by the management of India&#8217;s cash-strapped national carrier.<br \/>\nTalks between pilots and management failed to reach a solution on Monday.<br \/>\nEarlier this month a protest by pilots for India&#8217;s privately-owned Jet Airways caused considerable disruption.<\/p>\n<p>During that protest hundreds of passengers were stranded at various airports, leading to angry confrontations.<\/p>\n<p>Air India said that the pilots&#8217; refusal to accept the bonus cuts were &#8220;unacceptable&#8221;.\u00a0But it also said that it was keeping options open.
