Singapore celebrates Christmas Singapore is gearing up for Christmas with its fourth annual ZoukOut Music Festival, an all-night beach party on 12 December, alongside a whole host of other events for ‘Christmas in the Tropics’.

The Garden City’s fourth annual ZoukOut Music Festival takes place on Sentosa Island on Saturday 12 December.

Pack your swim wear for Asia’s biggest all-night beach party, which is a spin-off from Singapore’s most famous nightclub, Zouk. The 14-hour music festival runs from 18:30 to 08:00 the next day, and attracts visitors from all over the world. The line-up includes a wide range of musical genres from electronic dance to hip-hop, R&B and retro, bringing together some of the world’s best DJs. Christmas in the Tropics runs from now through to 3 January 2010, with a range of events and attractions. Head for the main shopping streets, Orchard Road and Marina Bay, which are transformed into tropical wonderlands of lights and decorations. These streets are home to a huge number of local and international brand names. Between shopping exploits there will be roving street pantomimes, acrobatic displays and dance performances along the Orchard Road pedestrian mall.
