Good news for Turkey from Finland

Tayyip ErdoganTurkey Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was at the opening of the official ceremony held for the annual meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Many world leaders and representatives are taking part at the metting. After the ceremony Erdoğan had a meeting with Finland Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen at his İstanbul office.

After eating lunch together, Erdoğan and his co-worker Vanhanen gave a press conference. At the conference the two PM’s stated that relations between Turkey and Finland have improved and has especially gotten stronger in the tourism industry.

Improvements were made in the tourism industry between the two countries because of an agreement made between Turkish Airways and Finland Airways in 2008. These agreements are set to further improve because of the tourists that are going to arrive in Turkey in the next few days.
