According to Granma daily, in a meeting held yesterday, both officials expressed their satisfaction for this visit and reiterated the importance of strengthening and diversification of the economic-commercial links between their nations.
The visiting Turkish official was accompanied by Turkish Ambassador Hasan Servet Oktem, First Deputy Minister for EU Affairs, Alaattin Buyyukaya and General Director for the Americas, Ali Kaya Savut.
Head of Department of European and Canadian Affairs of the Cuban Foreign Ministry and other officials from the said ministry also attended the meeting.
