South Africa-born Charlize, star of Monster and Hancock, has vowed she and the Irish actor will never marry until gay marriage is legalised.
But she told : “We’ve been together for almost nine years, so by now we’ve kind of realised that we’re going to take this journey together.”
Her next film, sci-fi drama The Road, will be released in January.
